Much to surprise this download seems to be necessary although J2EE v 1.5 is already installed on my computer. Why does IntExp not recognize this installation? Be wary of false websites - it could tell you that it is trying to install java, but really be trying to install a virus or malware.
To get the JRE you can easily go to www.Java.com They have both an automatic download for IE (like the one it sounds like you are describing) and a standalone installer.
Does anybody know why when I run the following html with the OBJECT tag, it always asks me to download the 1.4.101 plug-in. The first time I install the plut-in it works, the runs.
